I hate my dentures. Can you offer me a way out with implants?

Hi, I have recieved m first set of dentures and I hate them! Naturtally I have been told that it will take some time to adapt to the new dentures but I really am not comfortable with them. I have read a lot and indeedd heard from my dentist, of rave reviews about dental implants. There is two things that i want to know about having dental implants if you will please. If i have dental implants how many is ‘the norm’ and will i have to have them in these dentures or can i have new made (will it be a big price difference?)? as these dont even look particularly good! cheers

My friends dentures caused her to gag, Is this always the case?

I Having a friend who used to have the dentures and she always used to ‘gag’? when she eats because of what the dentures is made from. all in all its not a nice thing and I myself now have to have denture and attend the same clinic I did not want to nd up like she has. what do you think this is? do you think it is the plastic or just the way she is using it? I think maybe its the size? anyway do you think this will affect me because we are being at the same place? could you give me some tips that I could pass to my dentist to avoid this happening or should it be the case that i should avoid this dentist completely? thankyou very much.

My husband’s new dentures doesn’t fit properly, what can he do?

My husband came home this evening with dentures. He had a bridge to his two front teeth but the dentist took them out cause he said that one of them was infected. He had three teeth missing at the back of his mouth and wanted a steel plate fitted. We are horrified that he could have done this. My husband didnt even know until he had extracted the teeth at the front. We want to know what the options are now. The dentures dont even fit properly.

Are Teeth in a Day too good to be true?

hello there Mr Wright, I have been considering getting dentures but as with anything medical to be honest i am not so stable in a dental clinic. nor am i at hospitals or any other (doctors etc.) I looked briefly on your website and popped back to here to ask you more about the permanent teeth in a day using implants. you essentially sold it to me by mentioning juicy steak!! this isn’t actually a joke I havent been able to have a steak properly due to the way# my dentures have always seemed to fit me. this is annoying not least because its one of my favourite foods but because i never thought id have to avoid eating certain foods for fear of my ‘teeth’ falling out!!! if I have full dentures (as I do now and have done fore about eight years) could i just pop in and have implants fitted or is there some form of drawback when having the one day thing? i always assume if it sounds good its either more expensive or lesser quality? could you please tel me a bit of what id have to do to have them when i already have a full set of dentures please, also what i can expect from dentures on implants?
