I have a few wobbly teeth which might need removing. Could you advise my next move please?

Q.

Hi, I have suffered from gum disease due to smoking and my gums have receded dramatically resulting in a very large gap between my front teeth. I have inquired about veneers and my dentist initially sad it should be fine. At my last appointment he when I asked about starting the procedure he said in around 2 months he would take an xray to check if the bone was suitable. I have noticed that my leftside front tooth is very wobbly and this is causing me great distress but doesn’t appear to concern my dentist at all! I’m 31 yrs old and a false tooth on a palate is not an option for me, would veneers be the right option or is a crown possible? when I asked about a bridge for another tooth my dentist refused. I’m really quite concerned that I’ll loose my tooth and want to pre-emt a toothless smile! what are my options? Thanks in advance for any advice
